The Network of Spiritual Progressives-San Mateo County exists to achieve the vision of a society that promotes a New Bottom Line of love, caring, generosity, kindness, ethical and ecological sensitivity, and awe and wonder at the grandeur of creation. We do this by locally-directed efforts to challenge existing attitudes and policies that fail to promote these values, and by raising consciousness to the need for transforming the dominant discourse of money and power in U.S. society.
The NSP is a progressive interfaith organization open to all people who are religious, or “spiritual but not religious,” or secular people who understand the need for a politics of meaning and a Spiritual/Religious Voice and wish to support efforts to build it.
